Host Pianos

Providing quality instruments for contestants to practice on is the biggest logistical exercise for the Competition. Most of the practice pianos are in host or private homes. In addition to these privately-owned pianos, further instruments are specially supplied by Steinway & Sons, through their Steinway Piano Gallery Nashville agent. These are placed in homes and other spaces during the Competition.

Steinway & Sons also provides the concert grands for all Competition performances in Turner Recital Hall, and the backup support of their excellent specialist technicians.
