Hayk Danoyan was born in 2015 in Yerevan, Armenia. He is currently a student at the Tchaikovsky Specialized Music School in Yerevan, where he studies piano under the guidance of Professor Nune Asatryan. Music has been an integral part of Hayk’s life since early childhood. The piano has become not only his passion but also his most sincere means of emotional expression. He draws deep inspiration from the works of P. I. Tchaikovsky, F. Chopin, S. Prokofiev, and S. Rachmaninoff—composers whose music continue to shape his artistic journey. Hayk has already had the honor of performing on international stages, including the Scherzo International Piano Competition in Tel Aviv and the “Merci, Maestro!” competition in Brussels. In 2025, he was awarded the Gold Medal in his age category at the 8th International Young Pianists Competition named after Arno Babajanian. He also received a Special Prize for the Best Performance of a 20th-Century Composer, presented by renowned Armenian pianist Hayk Melikyan. Hayk aspires to continue growing as a pianist, participating in new competitions and festivals, and proudly representing Armenia on the international stage. His dream is to make the world a better place through the magical power of great music. He is also passionate about drawing, composing music, and learning new languages.
