I hope it will encourage many young pianists to participate in the 2025 NICPC in December of 2025 and join participants from around the world in enjoying the warmth, hospitality, love of music, and friendliness for which Nashville is so renowned in celebration of the music of Frédéric Chopin. We have more than doubled our prizemoney pool, expanded the format to include a final Artist round with orchestra, and have added numerous exciting collaborations and partnerships for our second edition. Lastly, we have expanded the age range for the competition to include pianists up to 33 years of age. The NICPC brings a new and innovative approach to providing opportunities to each performer. We want every young pianist to give their best and we make every effort to make that possible. We look forward to extending our warmest welcome in Music City.”
