I hope it will encourage many young pianists to participate in the inaugural Nashville International Chopin Piano Competition in October of 2023 and join participants from around the world in enjoying the warmth, hospitality, love of music, and friendliness for which Nashville is so renowned in celebration of the music of Frédéric Chopin.  The NICPC brings a new and innovative approach to providing opportunities to each performer.
