Ethan L is a 15-year-old pianist residing in California. Under the guidance of his excellent teacher, Dr. Namiq Sultanov, with whom he has studied for the past decade, Ethan has developed a repertoire that focuses intently on the Romantic Era. Dr. Sultanov instilled in him a deep appreciation for the emotional storytelling inherent in Romantic music. Ethan’s favorite composers include Chopin, Liszt, and Rachmaninoff, although he maintains diversity by exploring pieces from other musical eras as well.
Ethan also loves to perform and compete, as he sees every performance as an opportunity to grow, learn, and improve. He often plays for his local church whenever he has the time, performing major works by Chopin, Liszt, and Rachmaninoff, and accompanying the choir. His playing has earned recognition from competitions and teachers alike, with each performance building his confidence and experience and enabling him to fully express his emotions and connect with his audience.
With the support of his parents and teachers, Ethan strives for excellence and hopes to one day achieve his dream of becoming a concert pianist, spreading music throughout the world. He believes it is his voice—his best way of communicating and expressing his feelings to others through the beauty of music.
