Iskandar Mamadaliev, a young and promising pianist, enchants audiences worldwide with his exceptional musicality, technical brilliance, and exquisite sensitivity. Born on January 24, 2002, in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, he began his musical journey at the age of five under the guidance of Tamara Popovich at Uspensky Specialized Music School.
Mamadaliev’s remarkable achievements highlight his dedication and passion for music. In 2011, he secured the prestigious First Absolute Prize (Grand Prize), along with the “Best European Music” Award and the Audience Prize, at the Città di Barletta International Piano Competition in Italy.
Continuing his winning streak, he claimed First Prize at the International Online Competition for Piano and Strings “American Protégé” in New York City in 2012. That same year, he earned the First Absolute Prize (Grand Prize) at the Piano Talents International Piano Competition in Milan, Italy. His outstanding talent was again recognized in 2013 when he won First Prize at the International Piano Competition Young Talents with Orchestra in Barlassina, Italy. In 2015, he secured First Prize at the Ann & Charles Eisemann International Piano Competition in Richardson, Texas. In 2023, Iskandar won First Prize at the Takács/Beethoven Piano Competition.
Mamadaliev’s captivating performances have taken him to concert halls across the United States, Europe, and Central Asia. He has collaborated with acclaimed orchestras such as the National Uzbek Symphony Orchestra, Kiev National Symphony Orchestra, Richardson Symphony Orchestra, Azerbaijan Philharmonic Orchestra, and others, establishing himself as a versatile artist.
To further his musical growth, Mamadaliev pursued his education at Oberlin College & Conservatory in Oberlin, Ohio, USA, studying under the esteemed Prof. Stanislav Ioudenitch. Prior to Oberlin, he honed his skills at The Barstow School in Kansas City, Missouri, also under the guidance of Prof. Ioudenitch.
