Max Lu, 11, is a sixth-grade student at Dwight-Englewood School in New Jersey. He began studying piano at the age of five and is currently under the tutelage of Natela McHedlishvili.
Max has been recognized with numerous top prizes in competitions, including the Chopin International Piano Competition (Hartford, CT), the National League International Young Artist Competition, and the NJMTA Young Musicians Competition. In addition to his passion for piano, Max also plays cello and enjoys tennis.
