Franciszek Kalus began playing the piano at the age of 13 in 2019 under the guidance of Mariusz Adamczak. Since December 2020, he has been a student at the Music School in Wyszków. He has had consultations with pianists and professors such as Luca Toncian and Michał Dziad. In June 2020, he won the I prize at the "Online Pro-Piano Romania" International Piano Competition in Bucharest, Romania. In July 2021, he achieved notable success, winning the I prize at the "SWISS International Online MUSIC COMPETITION," the II prize at the "Val Tidone International Music Competition Online," and a Platinum medal at the "Appassionato International Online Youth Music Festival." In June 2022, he clinched the first prize along with a special prize for Chopin at the "Pro-Piano Romania" International Piano Competition in Bucharest, Romania. In November 2022, he received an honorable mention at the Danubia Talents Piano Competition in Budapest. In June 2023, he secured the second prize at the "Munich Piano Competition." Since the outset, he has been a frequent performer of concerts in Poland.
