Host Families

By living with a Nashville family for the duration of the Competition, young pianists go through the grueling practice schedule required to maintain repertoire in performance condition with their own support group 'family' and get an insight into Nashville culture, southern hospitality, and the phenomenon of living in Music City. Host families and contestants often remain friends for years afterward as their careers and lives develop, building lifelong bonds and relationships.
